TYA playwright.  Awards: CTFA Orlin Corey Medallion, Chorpenning Cup, Helen Hayes Award, Ivey Award, three AATE Distinguished Play Awards, Bonderman Prize. Grants/Fellowships: NEA, TYA/USA, Doris Duke, Mid-Atlantic Arts, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts; and youth theater program honored at White House.  Plays performed at New Visions/New Voices, Smithsonian Institute, One Theatre World and other national festivals & international stages.  Commissions by Kennedy Center, Childsplay, and Tony Award-winning stages Children’s Theatre Company, Alliance, La Jolla Playhouse, Shakespeare Theatre.
